CeraValve ® Typ KST


The KST type is an improvement on the former SSK3100 type.

Application

* On / off and control (modulating)
* For severe abrasive and corrosive service
* With special body material (body material is wetted)
* Primarily for slurries

Description:

* Valve body is “wetted”
* Ceramic seats and ceramic center socket are interlaced
* Weight reduction (70% of the former SSK3100)
* Long and short face-to-face available
* For temperatures up to 310°C
* Three – part body

Function:

* Floating ball with defined ball side play – tolerance
* Fixed seats
* Flow pressure presses ball against the downstream seat
* Quarter-turn motion of the ball 0° to 90°

Materials:

* Special metal or plastic
* Liner & trim: Alumina / Zirconia / Silicone Carbide / Silicone Nitrate

Options:

* “TA – Luft“ – version (adjustable double packing, zero emission)
